TopFoto is proud to have supplied a couple of images for Tristram Stuart’s revolutionary new book, Waste: The Global Food Scandal Uncovered.

On Wednesday, 16 December, 12 noon – 2pm in Trafalgar Square, anyone can turn up and be one of 5,000 people to receive a delicious free lunch made from perfectly fresh ingredients that would otherwise have been wasted.

Volunteers from TopFoto will be there helping dish up, and one of our new photographers, Sarah Dixon, will be covering the event for us on the day.

They say: “The aim is to highlight how easy it would be to cut the unimaginable levels of food waste in the UK and internationally. The event is being organised by Tristram Stuart in partnership with Save the Children, This is Rubbish, FareShare and ActionAid with support from the Mayor of London, School Food Matters, Food for All, London Food Board, Penguin, the Bishop of London and more.
