1044372 - Valery Shustov The newly-rebuilt Cathedral of Christ the Saviour reflected in the Moskva River, 1997. Originally completed in the 1880s, the cathedral was demolished in 1931. It was rebuilt during the 1990s, symbolic of the resurgence of the Russian Orthodox Church following the collapse of the USSR.
